Glidden Design created this exhibition stand at the Business Design Centre, London, for corporate identity and print specialist consultancy Smithfield Design. The stand features modular mirror-polished stainless steel panels with a burnished finish, complete with integral spotlighting and display shelves. These are designed to be reusable and re-configurable. The layout deliberately avoids the use of a bespoke floor finish, and instead utilises the general hall carpeting throughout to avoid the psychological boundary which can discourage visitors to enter the stand. The off-set meeting table sits on a custom-made rug to define this as a separate, yet integrated zone within the stand.
