Glidden Design created this exhibition stand at Internet Business 2000, Brighton, for digital design consultancy Nucleus. Deliberately down-playing the ever-present high-tech look focusing on computer hardware, unlike almost all of the other exhibitors, the stand instead communicates what the consultancy actually does: 'building brands for digital business'. The design philosophy was to create a simple, bold statement (the red wall uses the maximum permitted height in the venue), punctuated with intriguing illuminated windows containing 'non-tech' objects relating to clients of Nucleus, such as an old leather suitcase for Thomas Cook, a teddy bear for Hamleys, and a diamond necklace for DeBeers. | ||
