Glidden Design were appointed by Newcastle-based design consultancy Gardiner, Richardson to redesign the office space, with the purpose of accomodating four additional work stations, whilst adding a greater sense of creativity to the environment.

Each individual member of staff was interviewed to gain a full understanding of the needs and desires of the workforce. The solution developed by Glidden resulted in six additional workspaces, and two further meeting spaces, achieved by introducing large feature storewall elements. These facilitated greater centralised storage and less individual desk clutter. Bold use of colour enlivens the environment and draws the eye to key areas of the workspace.
