Glidden Design developed a full range of brand identification signing applications for the new Friends Provident corporate identity created by Smithfield Design. Applications included high-level illuminating roofline signs, wayfinding and identification signing, reception feature panels, door signs, flags and vehicles. The main signs are manufactured from 12mm thick-low iron glass, specially selected to avoid the green cast associated with standard float glass, whilst providing a high-quality appearance which is both durable and easily maintained. The corporate identity is incised into the back panel, creating a 3-dimensional appearance. The signing system is being implemented across the UK to all headquarter buildings and regional sales offices.
