Glidden Design worked closely with The Friends of Braidburn Valley Park, a local community group, to design a series of orientation and interpretation panels documenting the history, wildlife and geological features of this historic Edinburgh parkland.

The interpretation panels are designed to communicate on many levels, with the information being layered to suit the visitor, rather like a magazine. This means that the viewer can simply glance at the panels for basic orientation, or can read some key information. For those desiring more detailed information, there are many facts and figures, presented in an easily digested form.

The panels are positioned to allow easy acess by wheelchair users and are maunfactured from a vandal-resistant GRP, which encapsulates a full-colour text / graphic image. The panels are 'frameless' in design, which prevents the build-up of dirt and debris, whilst giving a contemporary appearence.
